Rumor Has It.... BGC Season 8 Cast...

Bad Girls Club Season 8 Wiki
Community Article
The format remained largely unchanged from previous seasons. A group of seven rebellious women who are between the ages of 21 and 27 moves in a mansion and must try to co-exist with different personalities, lives, race and sexual orientations and above all they must try to adapt to the frequent changes of moods and behaviors of their roommate. The seven "original" bad girls must also hereby all the rules that were given to them prior to moving in such as no physical violence towards anyone including the producers. The girls must not intrude a "bad girls" production room and must tolerate various interviews in their diary rooms. The girls must also follow normal rules of the country when leaving the house to go on dates, personal tasks and/or parting. During the show, the girls are put into situations where some must divide the house, create havoc to satisfy oneself, book parties and hook ups in clubs, groceries shopping and they must also juggle everything including their own personal lives. The girls are allowed to contact their families and their personal relationship partners, the girls are given either a laptop or a big screen TV that features a home computer.
The girls are also allowed to have frequent visitors to see them.  The girls must go through tough situations, such as fights (arguments, spit at, food fights, breaking of personal belongings, and personal attacks), and physical fighting such as physically touching another "bad girl" with intentions of hurting that
person, which is what each season of girls have to overcome. The girls are thrown in the house and are there to co-exist and must tolerate everyone in order to "make it" at the end of the season and they accomplish this by staying in the show without being removed due to physical fighting.
In some cases, some "bad girls" may wish to leave the show due to court, issues at home, think that they are better than the others or mostly due to the fact that some could not deal with the tensions and stress that some girls were doing to
them such as bullying and double tagging a "bad girl". A replacement is usually introduced in the house an episode or two after one bad girl leaves the show or is removed. The "original" bad girls are then seen dominate and stick together to try
to intimidate the replacements unless the "newbies" are just like them. Bullying and tag teaming are seen throughout the series of the Bad Girls Club due to making personal friends and having ones back or if a group of girls dislike another they would form a way to make sure that the other girl is gone within a day of bullying. At the end of the show, some girls change their ways, which is the key of the show to change the girls "bad behaviors" and turn them into role models by placing seven girls of the same behavior with different reasons as being "bad" in one house.

Shelly Hickman Interview with The Vital Voice

Source: The Vital Voice

Shelly Hickman loves haters.

“Haters are your number one fans,” she explains while at her kitchen table in South City. It’s a Friday night and I’ve decided to tag along with Shelly and her friends down Manchester in an attempt to document a night out with a ‘Bad Girl’.

You may recognize Hickman from Rehab Bar and Grill where she bartends but fans of Oxygen Network’s Bad Girls Club will soon be watching her on the addictive reality show produced by reality juggernauts Bunim/Murray. The show is an all femme fatale version of The Real World where cameras follow the relationships and dramas of seven “bad girls” from across the country as they party and cat fight. Drinks are thrown…claws come out…weave is pulled…and I shamelessly love every second.

Tonight, Shelly’s nails are painted in pink leopard print, her pumps are black and she’s pulling off a blonde bombshell effect.

“A lot of people think they know me but they have no idea who the hell I am,” she says. The show has yet to premiere and Shelly already has been grappling with the weight of fame in a small town like St. Louis.

“I am petrified. I’ve let them [the producers] have the power to make me into whatever they want. I know I’m a good person and so do my friends and family but the people who watch the show will only know what they see. It is extremely uncomforting.”

And a lot of people will be watching. Bad Girls Club has been a ratings success for Oxygen and the show pulls more than two million viewers per season. That means Shelly is in store for thousands of fans and thousands of haters.

We meet one of the “haters” while having drinks at Attitudes when a random homosexual claims to have known Shelly for years and that she can be “dramatic and over sensitive.”

She flips through my note pad and scratches an X across his quote and writes the word HATER and an arrow.

“That guy doesn’t even know me! I think it’s a joke when people want you to be a fame hungry person because they’re hungry themselves and they’re just trying to feed their mouths not yours. You have to ignore people like that.”

She says she doesn’t want to lose herself in the glitz and glamour of her impending fame.

“I had a life before the show and when the show ended I came home to the life I had before. I love it that way. A lot of these girls want the fame and the money and they completely forget about the life they had before the show.”

Before reality television, Shelly was the resident lesbian bartender who loves animals and other “real women.” She grew up in O’Fallon, Missouri where she says she survived a turbulent childhood with a drug addicted mother in and out of jail.

“I can remember her taking me on drug deals, pulling out guns in front of me, stealing from the store and putting the products in my bag," she says. “It was terrible. She’d get out of jail and promise she had changed and I would give her a second and third and fourth chance but she was always fucking it up.”

Shelly says she has an amazing relationship with her step-mother who gave her the emotional support she needed during that time and when she came out to her family at 19.

“I knew when I was 12 that I was gay but I hid it. If I had thought it would have been more accepted I would probably be a golden ticket!” she jokes. I ask her what a golden ticket is.

“Never had sex with a guy,” she replies with a coy smile.

We finish our drinks and decide to walk over to Novak’s to continue the party. Now this is where it gets blurry. Fans of BGC will know that one of the guilty pleasures of the show is getting to watch the brawls and fights the girls get into and tonight we happen to find our very own on the sidewalk outside the bar.

To all of our credit the fight starts when a bully in his car gets upset that Shelly and her friends turn down his cat calls from his raggedy car rolling down Manchester. He gets out and begins cursing at us…I tell him to get the fuck back inside the car and leave us alone…I get punched in the face.

In true BGC fashion, it goes down.

When the dust settles we brush ourselves off and head to the bar.

“That was crazy!,” Shelly says to me. “I’m glad you’re okay. I totally threw myself on you to keep him from kicking your head.”

And in the end it’s that mothering instinct that ultimately defines her.

“I truly believe I was put on this Earth to be a mother. I want to have soccer practice and be a housewife someday. I want to be the mother to my kids that I never had.”

For now she’s content with life at home with her dog Ella and her gay family at Rehab.

“I want a happy life and to live this for all its worth.”

BGC 6 FLASHBACK " THE FIGHT HEARD AROUND THE WORLD"

Bad Girls Club’s Ashley & Kori Speak Out On Fight, Plus Preview New Episode!

Written By Reality Tea 14 Mar 2011

It was the fight seen around the country world as things got physical between Bad Girls Club stars Ashley King and Kori Koether on the last episode of the show.

The drama began when the girls got home from a late club outing and the brewing feud over Char between them reached a boiling point. Ashley threw the first punch but Kori, shocking many fans of the show, seemed to finish the fight. There is a pretty general consensus that Kori won this fight and in fact, “Damn Ashley” was a trending topic on twitter Monday night as many couldn’t believe Ashley came out with a black eye.

Well, following the fight, below is what Ashley had to say in her Oxygen blog -

“The fight with Kori and I was a fight that I should’ve fought with Char but OF COURSE, Kori tries to fight all of Char’s battles because as we all know Char has no hands. It started at the club we were at. Kori got into a fight with the guy Char was trying to get and his girlfriend. Then the gf flipped me off so I spazzed out. Char tried to call us out saying we are embarrassing blasah blasah blah. So I went in on Char and out of the corner of my eye I seen Kori siding with her and that’s when I went in on Kori. I’m trying to have both of our backs while she’s stabbing me in mine. So at that point Kori started it and I had to finish it once again.”

As for Kori, she took to her twitter page and stated, “Ya i fought ash cause i was just so sick of hearin about Char, right when we got home Ash kept talking about Char it was annoying!… yes ashley deff did instigate it. It was bull shit cause i didnt wanna keep hearing about char! Ashley said she was not chars follower yet she kept talking about char when our fight happened!”

Kori adds that she and Ashley are “cordial” today but that she and everyone else “hates Char.”

And a new episode of the show airs tonight on the Oxygen network at 9/8c. On the 8th episode this season titled “Weak Sauce,” trouble looms for Jennifer when nemeses Nikki and Lauren gain an unforeseen ally. Meanwhile, Jessica’s hard-partying brother arrives at the house and things get a little steamy between him and Kori.

So in the end Ashley stood her ground and Kori Kicked some ass That made them both season six baddast...

Exclusive Interview: Wilmarie –The Baddest of The Bad Girls Club

Exclusive Interview: Wilmarie –The Baddest of The Bad Girls Club

May 12, 2011 7:15 am BE'N ORIGINAL Urban Ink Magazine

Unless you’ve been under a rock, you have at least heard of the Oxygen Network’s infamous Bad Girls Club. . Whether partying with friends or schooling a roommate on mutual respect using a lamp or stilettos, one cast member stood out above the rest. Introducing Wilmarie Sena, the undisputed sexy free spirited brawler of Season Six. Let’s get ready to rumble.

How did being a Bad Girl compare to what you had seen on television? It’s kind of what you see on TV exactly, but it’s a little bit more because it’s in a controlled environment and there are rules like any reality TV show. It’s not like you’re running wild with them filming you. It’s like okay these are the places you can go to. It’s a little bit controlled. The weird part was having the camera crews following you 24/7 and all that. My thought as far as the girls… I knew there would be girls being bitchy and stuff.

Did you experience any privacy issues as far as with the editing process? Were there things that you thought shouldn’t have been incorporated? I actually feel like some girls complain, “Ah I was edited wrong.” The way I am on TV is exactly the way I am in person, so the editing was great for me. It’s also not the editing – it’s you. They tell you that in the beginning. They say: we don’t edit anything. It’s how you act so that’s going to be how you’re portrayed. I wasn’t acting. I was being myself, so you see me as me.

A lot of the fans thought that you kept it one hundred throughout the entire show. I didn’t go there as a caricature. Some people, they’re like, “I’m gonna go and be a bitch.” But I’m like, I’m going to go there, I’m going to be me. I’m going to have fun. I said it was going to be my vacation time, and that’s what it was.

Were you surprised by some of the things that occurred while you weren’t around? When certain people say certain things… the thing about that house was whoever had a problem or an issue, they would tell you to your face. So I don’t know what I haven’t heard because the girls already told me to my face. No one ever said anything negative about me. The only one – Nikki – so I wasn’t surprised.

Okay. Now that the show’s over, I kind of already know the answer to this question because I’ve been following you on Twitter. But is there any possibility that your friendship with Nikki could be salvaged? Oh hell no. NO. Nikki and I will never be friends. One reason is because she’s a baby. I’ve said it before. Lauren gave her a chance and she would talk shit behind her back. I already know how to tell personalities, I know she’s not being 100 % with people, and she’s never 100% with you. A person like that, I don’t want in my life at all. She’s very negative.

She put her hands one me. Anyone in my life who has ever put their hands on me, I’m never going to let them get close enough to do that again. She scratched me. I don’t like that -especially being scratched. If she would have punched me, I wouldn’t care but she scratched me because she couldn’t do anything else and actually left marks.

You showed a great deal of restraint in the limo. You had those stilettos on and you could have ended it all. You know, the editing is crazy because the fight was way longer than that and a lot of stuff happened in the limo. There was more than that. I guess they can’t show everything that happened in there, but there was more whoop-ass in the limo than they showed.

Well now that you have established yourself – from all the fights we’ve seen, it was really one-sided. Do you find people challenging you in the streets? No. I feel like that’s Nikki’s problem, not mine because I wasn’t acting tough. The only reason I reacted like that was because of the way she kept pushing me. It wasn’t like I was acting tough in the house. I wasn’t at all. I was sweet to everyone until they disrespected me.

How have your family and friends reacted to the show? They love it because they feel like I’m being. So my friends love it and my family they love it as well. They didn’t edit me into being different than I am. The only thing they hate is when some people write negative stuff on Twitter. But I tell them it’s only like 5% compared to the 95% positive comments or posts.

Your Hispanic background was prominently mentioned throughout the series, have you run into people who felt it was a false representation? No! Everyone thinks I represented Hispanics the right way. I’m just getting a lot of positive responses.

Are there any reality shows in your future? What are you planning to do from here? Some work… maybe for my own show hopefully – crossing fingers. And more stuff’s gonna happen.

Are you looking to take the “I Love New York’” route where you’re going to have guys contesting for your love? No, I don’t think I could do that. I don’t think I could be in a love show or have my own love show. I don’t think I would like that, but who knows?

You’re popular. We polled people and you’re pretty much one of the favorite characters on the show. You know, we were all surprised at how it turned out… all this positive stuff. You know when you’re seeing it, you’re like “Wow, this is how it unfolds,” you know? It’s pretty crazy, but it’s good that it came out like this with a positive result – that everyone favors me and says I kept it one hundred, which I did.

Are you going into other areas of the entertainment industry? Can we see you singing, rapping, or anything like that? Yeah there’s a lot of stuff. I don’t even know if I can talk about it, but someone hit me up to… I don’t want to do the video stuff, but this person is pretty big and they wanted me to be a lead role so I said yeah. I want to do movies… It’s in the works. Zombie movies and horror movies – that’s what I want to do.

Well, one thing for sure – you know you can fight. (Laughs) I guess. I would love to do like action movies. That would be fun.

So now, let me ask you some more personal questions. Are you currently dating anyone? If so, has being on the show affected your personal relationships? I really wasn’t trying to be on the show talking about my sugar daddy. He was in jail and stuff – they didn’t mention that. That person just came out, so it’s hard for him to understand that I’m on this new path. But, I’m not in a relationship at all. I haven’t been in one for a long time.

How should a guy approach you if he sees you in the club? I hate the lines. I hate the guys that are like, “Yo what’s up ma, you’re so beautiful” – I hate that. I like guys that are goofy and willing to be themselves. Don’t try and play games because I can tell. I’m 28 years old, I’ve been through all the game so I know what’s real and what’s fake out there like who wants a booty call and who wants to have a relationship. So if you want to booty call, you should just be like “Yeah I wanna fuck.” At least I’ll give you props for being honest.

What would you consider your best quality that you bring into a relationship? I usually give 100% when I’m in a relationship. I’ll do anything for that person. If they need help with something I’m like their right hand man. That’s why they call me rough rider – because I ride or die. That’s what all my friends say. That’s how I am with my friends and with my partner.

Would you consider repairing your friendship with Jen from Jersey? Oh no! There are no problems with me and Jen… Me and Jen, we bumped into each other at a club and gave each other the stink eye and just like worked it out. We’re good.

At the end of the day, how do you feel about this whole experience overall? This whole experience has been great. The thing is, we didn’t take anything to heart. It was vacation time. I just went out there to party, to drink, to have fun, and that is exactly what I did. All the girls and I were really close. The only person I actually don’t get along with is Nikki and I feel like she’s irrelevant to me. I really don’t care.

How’s your relationship with Char and Lauren at this point? Well Lauren is great. I love that girl. Me and her are really close. With Char it’s like “Hey, what’s up.” When we bump into each other, we say “what’s going on.” We don’t text or call every day. We don’t see each other. We bump into each other and say hello but nothing big. I respect her, she respects me.

Yeah, right. We saw that throughout the show. We’re two different types of people. Age-wise we’re the same age, but she’s different than I am. I’m more free-spirited, outgoing and party party party; she’s more focused on a brand. And I’m not like that.

What kind of role do you think alcohol had as far as Nikki? It seemed like she was okay until she got some alcohol in her. Yeah, we used to call her Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde because Nikki in the morning would be fine. They don’t show how she would sit back in the morning all calm. At nighttime, when she had some alcohol in her she wanted to start stuff. That’s why I would call her the hulk because she would change out of nowhere. She’s bipolar, she really is.

Again, you said this: no possibility of you guys ever being friends ever? No. She’s too fake for me. I don’t like fake people.

The Bad Girls Club Review

The Bad Girls club is a reality TV show on Oxygen, created by Jonathan Murray and produced by Bunim/Murray productions (the same company that produces the reality series The Real World). This is a very well known show. It’s about a group of girls of different races and backgrounds, who want to change their way of living. They want to change by actually knowing the difference between the good and the bad, by living with other girls that consider themselves “bad”. They live together for 4 months. In those four months there’s violence and what not, their the bad girls club! In the end there’s important lessons learned, and some changes.

I honestly love this show because it’s very intense and entertaining, but I believe this isn’t the best way to learn the bad from the good. These bold, outrageously funny, and endlessly entertaining girls put themselves to a really low level, by not being themselves. As almost every girl mentions, “If you’re not your real self you won’t make it through”. Like a high school experience, there’s too much backstabbing and that’s just not the way to go.

During the season there’s violence, sex, alcohol, NO TRUST, partying, guys, and homosexuality. Many leave or are kicked out, tore up. Like a bomb, they tick and tick until they finally explode, finally coming out as their real selves. I don’t think no one wants to go through this, these girls don’t join to “change”, they just want that tingly feeling of fame. In the end there may be a change, and may not. But still are known as the bad girls. Don’t miss out on the next season, The Bad Girls Club...

Could this in fact be what The Bad Girls Club Really boils down to?
